Project Title: Blockchain Based Academic Certificate Verifier

Project Description: The project aims to develop a secure, distributed, and verifiable academic certificate verification system using blockchain technology. It addresses issues such as security, availability, and authenticity in the current system by leveraging blockchain’s, decentralization, and transparency. The system consists of a web application allowing users to issue, manage, and verify certificates securely. Smart contracts is used for retrieving and managing certificates on the blockchain network.

Project Title: Dynamic Malware Analysis using ML

Project Description: Malware continues to be a significant threat to computer systems and networks, with new and more sophisticated variants appearing every day. Dynamic malware analysis is a technique used to detect and analyze malware by executing it in a controlled environment and observing its behavior. This approach allows security researchers to identify the malicious actions performed by malware, such as network communication, file system modifications, and system registry changes. In this paper, we propose a methodology for performing dynamic malware analysis. This allows us to execute malware samples in a controlled environment and collect valuable data, such as network traffic logs, system event logs, and memory dumps using API sequence calls. A classification model is trained upon this data to detect the nature of a file to discover whether it’s a benign or malware.

“3rd position in Project Exhibition”

Project Title: Autism Assistive app

Project Description: The Autism Assistive app is an Urdu language communication app designed specifically for autistic and non-verbal children in Pakistan, aiming to facilitate effective communication. The app offers a variety of interactive cards spanning different categories such as places, nouns, actions, and emotions. These cards are equipped with text-to-speech functionality.
The app allows users to select cards from various categories. When a user chooses a card, the app vocalizes its content, enabling interaction with others. An additional feature involves training a model on Urdu sentences and integrating it into the app. When users select cards in the order of subject, object, and verb or subject and verb, the app generates a related sentence based on their selection. The app also permits users to form negative and interrogative sentences. The primary objective of this app is to assist individuals with autism in enhancing their communication skills and fostering improved social interactions.
