A three-day training workshop on “Outcome-Based, Data-Driven & Inclusive Education” was successfully organized by the Faculty and Staff Development Program (FSDP) at UET Lahore from September 3–5, 2025.

Faculty members from the Department of Computer Science, New Campus, including Ms. Sana Afzal, Mr. Muzamil Dilawar, Ms. Rimsha Noreen, Mr. Ali Raza, and Mr. Numan Munir, had the privilege to attend this enriching training.

The workshop focused on advancing teaching and learning practices through innovative and inclusive approaches. Key areas of learning included:

Outcome-Based Education (OBE): Strategies for effective implementation and alignment of Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) with Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs).
Complex Computing Problems (CCP): Methods for designing, assessing, and integrating CCPs into course curricula.
Problem-Based Learning (PBL): Approaches to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving skills among students.
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): Frameworks for ensuring ongoing enhancement of academic quality and institutional excellence.

This training provided valuable insights, broadened teaching perspectives, and strengthened participants’ capacity to contribute towards building an inclusive, data-driven, and outcome-focused academic environment.
